The Hanford Reach National Monument is home to many, many species, but it's the large birds of prey that we really enjoy. We hope you will, too. The images here represent all the large birds of prey on the Monument. There are many other birds that eat everything from fish (e.g., belted kingfisher) to rodents (e.g., loggerhead shrike) to insects (e.g., western kingbird).
Oh, and we've got wildflowers, too. Lots of them.
