Permits

Permits
Some activities such at collection, research, and some special events are regulated on the refuge and require a Special Use Permit. These permits enable the public to engage in legitimate wildlife-related activities that would otherwise be prohibited by law. These permits go through an application process that is approved on a case by case basis to ensure that such activities are carried out in a manner that safeguards wildlife. Visit the National Wildlife Refuge System Web site for Special Use Permits or contact Michael Horne, Refuge Manager, for further information at 973-425-1222 x 156.
