      A Taste of Stewardship

      Do you like to get outside in the fresh air and get your hands dirty? Are you curious as to how a refuge manages habitat? Perhaps this is the day for you! We will be offering a morning of learning and working on the refuge open to the public to anyone willing to work hard and learn. From 9:00am-12:00pm we will take you out on the Humbug unit of the refuge and show you how our stewardship crew manages in the habitat. If you like you can even stay afterwards for the Humbug Open House from 1:00pm-4:00pm. This program is for ages 12 and older.
