Perhaps you think you are already an expert in using binoculars – well come on down to eh Gibraltar Bay unit to test your skills. We will have family friendly binoculars games to test the new and the old! Binoculars will also be available for loan as you walk the refuge trails looking for some of its elusive wildlife. Suitable for the whole family.
Open House at Humbug Marsh (1:00 – 4:00 pm) in celebration of National Trails Day the Humbug unit will be open from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm for you to enjoy a day out on our trails.We will also have two special guests joining us for the afternoon. The Wyandot of Anderdon Nation will have artifacts on display and be there to talk to you about the history of the Wyandot in the area. Our other special guest is Elizabeth Hartig, author of the book “Humbug Marsh: A Wetland Symphony”
