Getting to the Refuge Visitor Center
Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge is located along the Mississippi River between St. Louis and Hannibal, Missouri. To get to the refuge, take Missouri State Highway 79 to the town of Annada, Missouri. From Annada, travel one mile east on Pike County Road 206 to the refuge headquarters.

Points of Interest 
Explore the great outdoors and the diversity of wildlife at Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge  Enjoy hiking trails, observation decks, and an auto route. Exhibits at the refuge visitor center tell the story of the Mississippi Flyway and river habitats. The visitor center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Directions from St. Louis to Clarence Cannon/Great River NWR Headquarters:
Take I-70 West leaving St. Louis to Highway 79.
Take Highway 79 North to Annada (about 40 miles).
Turn East on County Road 206 and follow the signs to the Refuge.

Directions from Quincy to Clarence Cannon/Great River NWR Headquarters:
Take I-172/I-72 East to Highway 96 South.
Follow 96 South to State Highway 54 West to Louisiana, MO.
At Louisiana, take Highway 79 south to Annada, MO.
Turn East on County Road 206 and follow the signs to the Refuge.
