LEO_512x219The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service maintains a law enforcement presence on National Wildlife Refuge lands.

Federal law enforcement officers ensure the safety of the public and the protection of natural resources. They address illegal activities, including poaching, taking of endangered species, dumping of trash, illegal operation of all-terrain vehicles, trespassing and more.

To report a violation on the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge:

  • Monday through Friday (7:30am to 4 pm), please call refuge law enforcement at 520-823-2235 or 520-823-4251 x115
  • After hours or on weekends, please call the law enforcement dispatch at 800-637-9152
