Annual Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge
Grassland Fair The Grassland Fair offers something for everybody including presentations by scientific experts, educational booths representing community, conservation and natural history
organizations. Come for variety of delicious foods and arts and crafts booths. See the endangered masked bobwhite quail and learn about the newest
developments. Enjoy the music! This event is for kids too! Kids can take archery lessons from the Buenos Aires NWR law enforcement officers, climb inside a fire engine and do a relay to see what it takes to be a fire
fighter and make a tee-shirt to commemorate your visit. Encourage your teachers to have your classroom take part in the art contest!
National Wildlife Refuge Week Celebration: Celebrate your National Wildlife Refuge System! A week of fun wildlife-related tours, talks and walks. This event is typically held the second full week of October.
