Bullfrog_512x219The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service maintains a law enforcement presence on National Wildlife Refuges.

Federal law enforcement officers ensure the safety of the public and the protection of natural resources. They address illegal activities, including poaching, taking of endangered species, dumping of trash, illegal operation of all terrain vehicles, trespassing and more. 

To report a violation on the refuge:
 

  • Monday through Friday (8am to 4:30pm), please call the Refuge Headquarters at 979-964-4011.
  • After hours or on weekends, please call 979-258-1176.

For injured wildlife, please contact Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue
