Refuge Junior Ranger Naturalist
The Texas Mid-coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex offers an opportunity for 10-12 year old children to get involved in a seven month learning program. The Refuge Junior Naturalist program introduces youth to the refuges and wildlife careers by learning directly from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Biologists and other conservation partners about wildlife, habitats, education and conservation needs. Programs can vary from bird banding to restoring habitat and natural journaling.

For more details on this fun program, visit the Refuge Junior Naturalist site.
