RESEARCH PROPOSAL

Completing this form will allow the Complex to track research projects, prevent potential conflicts with other studies or management activities, to assess logistical support needs, and as appropriate, to request funding from various sources for implementation of the study. We encourage researchers to collaborate with other studies and investigations in the Wetlands Complex. If you would like to review a list of ongoing studies please contact the Research Coordinator.

As the principal investigator, my signature below indicates my acceptance of the following conditions if my research proposal is approved:

1. Research will be conducted according to the description included in this proposal, and any State permits (if required) will be obtained prior to initiation of the project;
2. I agree to remove all markers or structures used in my research project within 90 days of field work completion, unless otherwise agreed to by the Research Committee;
3. I agree to provide the Research Committee with annual progress reports by 31 December each year on the study, including a copy of any final reports or publications.
4. I agree to abide by any restrictions deemed necessary by the Wetlands Complex to protect the resources of the Complex.
