Inland Wading Bird/Waterfowl Habitat (wwh_me polygon coverage)

Rated high, moderate or indeterminate statewide (see GIS-Based Evaluation of Waterfowl and Wading Bird Habitats in Maine, June 2002). This layer is a re-evaluation by Univ. Maine Dept. of Wildlife Ecology and USGS Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit of the prior IWWH layer created by MDIFW.  The mapped boundary includes a 250 foot buffer adjacent to the actual wetland habitat utilized by waterfowl and wading birds.
