| Abstract: This shapefile was agreed upon as part of a Programmatic Agreement between the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Federal Highway Administration, and the Maine Department of Transportation as the area where impacts to the federally threatened Canada Lynx would have to be considered for federal-aid highway projects. The southern boundary of the review area is roughly defined by Routes 2, 16, and 6. The boundary was digitized from the MEDOT.RoadsAllPubRds layer at 1:200,000 scale. This agreement is subject to review every 5 years, or within 60 days of any federal statutory or regulatory changes. |
