Description: - Derived from the point coverage gis/gom/cv/manomet_shrbrd/isssites83_2.shp, linked to database gis/gom/cv/manomet_shrbrd/gomiss4.dbf; Because of limited spatial precision we created these 1000 m buffers around the point sites when portraying observation areas. Database records are up to 1999; we selected recent occurrence information ( [Year] > 84) and ([lesa] > 0 ); selected those with any least sandpipers, then scored them according to number of birds per site (hsi = 10 for > 4 birds, hsi = 5 for 1 to 4 birds) and regarded these as feeding habitats.
