Description: - Derived from the point coverage gis/gom/cv/manomet_shrbrd/isssites83_2.shp, linked to database gis/gom/cv/manomet_shrbrd/gomiss4.dbf; Because of limited spatial precision we used this with a 1000 m buffer when portraying observation areas. Database records are up to 1999; we selected recent occurrence information ( [Year] > 84) and ([kill] > 0 ); selected those with any killdeer as manhisskill.shp; scored them according to number of birds per site, and regarded these as feeding habitats.
