3.1 Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to issue specific
redelegations from the Director to the Assistant Director - Fisheries.
3.2 Marine Mammal Permits. The Assistant Director may issue,
modify, suspend, and revoke permits and exemptions issuable under authority
of the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, as amended, 16 U.S.C. 1361-1384,
1401-1407.
