Evans Road Fire Update for July 13, 2008

Deep-burning ground fire, like on the Evans Road Fire, can destroy the entire tree including roots and cones, leaving no means to regenerate. Evidence of this level of severity can still be seen from the Allen Road Fire in 1985.
