The Evans Road Fire is still active and continues to have above-ground flames, as well as a lot of groundfire. At this point, especially on the eastern side of the fire, firefighters are seeing fire creeping around in the understory. But, fortunately, the type of flames seen earlier in the fire- the 200-foot+ high.
