Yes, during the special seasons, with the required permits.

Is the refuge open to the public?

The refuge has 6 public use objectives providing opportunities for: hunting, fishing, wildlife photography, wildlife observation, environmental education and interpretation.

These programs are approved based on their compatibility with wildlife management objectives.

Why don't we see any wild animals?
The animals are wild and live in their natural habitat.
