Volunteer Opportunities

How To Get More Involved

Volunteers play a vital role in helping the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service fulfill its mission of conserving, protecting and enhancing America’s fish and wildlife and their habitats.

We currently need volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Gulf sturgeon tagging
  • Community education and outreach
  • Office duties

Although the above list details specific needs, the Panama City field office is always looking for volunteers for a variety of ongoing projects.
