Special Use Permits
How to Obtain a Special Use Permit In order to conduct any type of research, monitoring, or support vessel project on a National Wildlife Refuge within the Pacific Remote Islands National Wildlife Refuge Complex, it is necessary to obtain a Special Use Permit from the Refuge you will be visiting. Special Use Permits are obtained by submitting a Special Use Permit Application to the Refuge Manager. Only type-written applications will be accepted. No hand-written applications please. All applicants are required to contact the Refuge permit administrator before submitting an application to discuss the proposed project and prepare for the application process.
