Purpose of Study:
The U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service began developing a management plan for the 40,198-acre
Little Pend Oreille NWR in 1995. The purpose of the CCP was to develop
a vision for the Refuge and provide management guidance for protection,
maintenance, restoration, and public use of the Refuge's resources for
15 years.
