Long Range Transportation Plan

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's transportation infrastructure connects people with nature on national wildlife refuges and national fish hatcheries. To prioritize transportation improvements needed at the Region's refuges and hatcheries, and optimize transportation funds for the next 20 years, we completed a Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) with Appendices in April 2012.

Public comments on the Draft LRTP were requested in September 2011, and have been integrated in the final document. An overview of our transportation program and a map of the Region's refuges and hatcheries is provided in Planning Update 1. More information on the Service's national transportation planning effort is available at http://www.fws.gov/refuges/roads/Transguide.html.
