Comprehensive Conservation Plan
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is starting a planning process to develop a Comprehensive Conservation Plan and Environmental Impact Statement that will revise our 1994 management plan for the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge (NAR). The new CCP/EIS will chart our course for managing the Hart Mountain NAR for a period of 10-15 years. We have identified some important issues, and invite your input.
Please review Planning Update 1, which explains what we have been up to for the past several years and what we feel are key topics for the future. 1994 Hart Mountain National Antelope
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service completed a Comprehensive Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (CMP/EIS) in May 1994. The CMP/EIS, Record of Decision, and a Summary of the CMP/EIS follow.
