Comprehensive Conservation PlanStatus:

of October 2012 September 2012 - The Draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan/Environmental Assessment (DCCP/EA) for Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) and Oxford Slough Waterfowl Production Area (WPA) is available for public review and comments. The DCCP/EA includes our analysis of management alternatives for Bear Lake Refuge, the Thomas Fork Unit, and Oxford Slough WPA. de Knijf, Refuge Manager June 2010 - Two units of the National Wildlife Refuge System, the Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) and the Oxford Slough Waterfowl Production Area (WPA), announce the beginning of a planning process to develop a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (see Planning Update 1) for both units. Public comments are requested to identify management issues for the Refuge and WPA. Comments were due July 23, 2010.
