Current
Status:
The
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has developed a Final Comprehensive Conservation
Plan (CCP), Finding of No Significant Impact, and a Summary of the CCP
for the Sacramento River NWR. On right is a link to the Final CCP and
its Appendices, and associated documents. The
Sacramento River NWR will not be open to public access until September
1, 2005.

Purpose
of CCP:
As
part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, the Sacramento River Refuge
is required to have a CCP in place to guide the management of fish, wildlife,
and plant habitats and public uses for a period of 15 years.
