Hunters interested in the hunting program at Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge are encouraged to attend a post-hunt season meeting.
The refuge is seeking feedback from waterfowl and upland game bird hunters and would also like to discuss potential volunteer opportunities that support the Refuge.
This will be the second hunt meeting for Refuge Manager, Shannon Ludwig. "I'm looking forward to an open and informal discussion about the Toppenish hunt program," stated Ludwig.
For those who cannot attend the meeting, send comments to the refuge by mail or e-mail at: mcriver@fws.gov. The meeting will be held at the Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters on Thursday, February 23, from 6:00p.m. - 7:30p.m.
The Headquarters is located at 21 Pumphouse Road, Toppenish, WA. Phone: 509-865-2405. From Toppenish, go south on U.S. Highway 97. At Pumphouse Road, turn right. Proceed through gates and travel 1 mile on gravel road to the headquarters building.
