Migratory Bird Conservation Programs in Oregon
All native birds found commonly in the United States,
with the exception of native resident game birds and introduced species are
protected under the Migratory
Bird Treaty Act. The Service's migratory bird conservation activities are
focused on 4 primary areas: population assessment; international, national
and flyway coordination; habitat management; and regulating take.
