Eagle Falconry Permits

(50 CFR 22.24)       Please Note that you must read these regulations prior to signing your application.
Eagle falconry permits are issued to Master class falconers who live in states where the use of eagles for falconry is legal. Eagle falconry permits authorize the use of golden eagles for falconry purposes. Region 1 states which allow the use of golden eagles for falconry are Idaho and Washington.
Eagle falconers can possess up to three eagles for use in falconry. A Master Class falconry license must also be held and maintained to keep the eagle falconry authorization valid. Any eagles held under an eagle falconry permit count toward the Master Class Falconer’s three-bird limit.
