Landmark Amphibian Study on National Wildlife Refuges


A study that spanned 10 years and the entire National Wildlife Refuge System has just been published in Plos One. The first to collect amphibian data at such a large scale, this study demonstrates that at the landscape level, abnormal frogs occur infrequently or not at all on most national wildlife refuges. Results of the completed, current and planned research will aid the conservation of amphibians.
