November Proclaimed Native American Heritage Month

The indigenous peoples of North America -- the First Americans -- are honored this month as the President proclaims November as Native American Heritage Month. Native Americans have woven rich and diverse threads into the tapestry that is America. So, this month, we celebrate the ancestry and time-honored traditions of American Indians and Alaska Natives, who have guided our land stewardship policies.
