A revised draft bull trout recovery plan, providing recovery criteria and a general framework for bull trout recovery rangewide, was published in September 2014.

Draft Recovery Unit Implementation Plans, identifying specific threats, recovery actions, costs, and estimated time to completion for each of the six recovery units, are being released for public comment in June 2015. During the summer of 2015 the recovery plan and recovery unit implementation plans will be updated as appropriate based on public comment received, with the goal of releasing a complete final recovery plan in September 2015.
