Climate Change in Grasslands, Shrublands, and Deserts of the Interior American West
Recent research and species distribution modeling predict large changes in the distributions of species and vegetation types in the western interior of the United States in response to climate change. This volume covers several topics including reviews of existing climate models, carbon mitigation and adaptation using native systems, the need for research on arthropod response to climate change and consideration for additive stressors such as invasive species and human development and resources use, among others.
