Critical HabitatThe Service designated critical habitat for bull trout in 2004. This is a regulatory process intended to provide additional protection for specific habitats of bull trout to help ensure their recovery. The process results in publication of maps and legal descriptions of those designated habitats. The Service considers these habitats when consulting with other federal agencies on the effects of their actions on bull trout and in other review processes. For more information including Biology, Status, and other related documents please go to Recovery Units with Critical Habitat for Bull Trout
