Jerry Wells is the Affirmative Employment Program Officer for the Pacific Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He is responsible for managing the Region 1 and Region 8 Affirmative Employment Program, Student Career Experience program, Historically Black, Hispanic, Predominantly Asian, and Tribally Affiliated Colleges and Universities Program, Recruitment and Targeted Recruitment Program, Federal Equal Opportunity Recruitment and Disabled Veteran Programs and Special Recruitment Initiatives. Mr. Wells also serves as the subject matter expert in the areas of recuitment outreach and position managment planning. In addition, Mr. Wells provides consultation services to managers and supervisors on recruitment of candidates for vacant positions.

Mr. Wells' previous governmental experience, totaling over 25 years, includes management of a variety of human resource and administrative areas, including recruitment programs. In addition, Mr. Wells' private sector experience includes serving as a Recruiter and Employment Counselor for the University of Texas.
