DIANNE WHITNEY
EEO Counselor
Dianne Whitney began her federal career with the Department of Defense at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard in Long Beach, California. After five years in Labor Relations, she accepted a position as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist. During her tenure she processed over 250 complaints and was instrumental in achieving an overall 87% resolution rate. In October, 1995, the Long Beach Naval Shipyard was closed; utilizing the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program, Ms. Whitney was reinstated at the Department of the Air Force, Space Command at Vandenberg AFB as their Chief, EEO Counselor.
Ms. Whitney is a certified mediator with both the Depart of the Navy and the Air Force and has extensive training in EEO and Labor Law. She has been the Regional EEO Counselor since 2000.
