Zone Equal Employment Opportunity Manager for the Pacific and Pacific Southwest Regions
Dana Perez is a native Oregonian and has been the Zone EEO Manager of the Division of Diversity and Civil Rights (DCR), Pacific and Pacific Southwest Regions, for nearly twenty years. Prior to becoming the Zone EEO Manager, Dana served as the full time EEO Counselor. He is a professional mediator, and through effective EEO counseling, mediation, and other dispute resolution techniques, has achieved a high rate of success in resolving EEO-related disputes. Additionally, Dana is co-author of the first U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service-wide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Policy and Plan.
During his tenure, the Division of Diversity and Civil Rights has garnered numerous awards and commendations - including recognition from the National Society for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS), and the Director's Equal Employment Opportunity Award. Dana is also the recipient of the prestigous Meritorious Service Award of the Department of the Interior in recognition of his "outstanding leadership, contributions, and unwavering commitment to enhancing diversity and civil rights awareness in efforts to have an inclusive environment in the federal government."
