The North Pacific Landscape Conservation Cooperative is a management-science partnership whose mission is to “. . . promote development, coordination and dissemination of science to inform natural and cultural resource management in the face of a changing climate and related stressors” across the coastal temperate forest region of North America.
The NPLCC brings together conservation programs and partners working in the same geographic areas who agree to further the seven goals of the NPLCC.

NPLCC Composition, Operations, and Staffing
The NPLCC is governed by a Steering Committee. A core staff reports to the Committee and implements both the strategic plan and the day-to-day operations of the LCC. The Committee establishes and supervises standing Subcommittees and other ad hoc groups to help execute its responsibilities. Standing committees include a Tribal/First Nations Committee, and the following subcommittees: Science/Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK), Communications/Outreach, and Partnership Liaison. The subcommittees are loosely defined, flexible, responsive and diverse in representation of perspectives. See chart below for more information.
