Presentation Title:
Climate Change Effects and Management Response along the North-central California Coast

Desription of Presentation:
The Climate Solutions Initiative spearhead by NOAA's Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary addresses climate change impacts along the North-central California coast and ocean environment. The Sanctuary's climate change site scenario document will gather and synthesize existing information on the main regional climate change drivers and resulting physical and biological impacts relevant to the nearshore and open ocean environments. The site scenario will provide a foundation for an Ocean Climate Change Action Plan that will include strategies outlining actions on a local, state, and federal level through partnerships, research, collaborations, outreach and education, and policy reform.
