Coordination and Planning

• Begin early; expect and allow for delays!
  

• Get more help than you think you need and delegate responsibilities to more than one person.
  

• It is much easier to maintain momentum than it is to build it up after it has been lost.
  

• Stay on top of project tracking, i.e. progress reports, photo monitoring, volunteer hours, expenses, etc.
  

• Ensure grant requirements are understood and can be met before applying.
  

• Managers should have an understanding of all project components, from planning to installation.
