The Environmental Assessment for the proposed public use project on Nestucca Bay NWR was made available on the Oregon Coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex website beginning Monday April 2, 2007. The 30-day comment period will close on Tuesday May 1, 2007. Written comments must be received by Thursday May 10, 2007 and can be submitted via email at oregoncoast@fws.gov or via snail mail at US Fish and Wildlife Service, 2127 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport OR 97365.

Based on comments received, changes may be made to the project proposal. After the final decision is made, the Service will send to everyone on the mailing list a summary of the proposal, our response to the public comments, how the proposal may have changed, and what the final decision is.
