Federal Women's Program

The overall objective of the FWS Federal Women's Program is to ensure that positive steps are taken to eliminate barriers that prevent women from participating fairly in all aspects of the FWS employment process, including but not limited to recruitment, training, upward mobility, career counseling, developmental details, and promotions. Efforts of this program are driven by supporting the Department of the Interior's pre-conference activities at the Federally Employed Women's annual conference and the development of retention effort projects.
