Public Comment Invited on the Revised Hunt Plan for
Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is seeking public comment on an amended
Hunt Plan, Environmental Assessment and Compatibility Determination for Crane
Meadows National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). The public will have 30-days to comment on the
proposed activities. All of the documents
have been drafted and submitted for review.
They may be viewed on the Crane Meadows NWR website. The address is: http://www.fws.gov/midwest/cranemeadows/about.html.
As part of the 30-day comment
period, the Refuge is hosting a listening station (an open house to answer or
address any questions or concerns regarding the hunt proposal or the
process). It will be held at Crane
Meadows NWR on September 4, 2014 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. In addition,
people who have comments or concerns may stop at the office or send written
submissions to the office. The office
