The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge will be holding a “Life on the Refuge” program for kids ages 5-14 at 1 PM on Saturday, July 12th. Find out what it is like to be an animal on a wildlife refuge. Learn where animals live, what they eat, and how they survive. This program includes a hike, games, and a craft. The program will be held at the Visitor Center located at 3982 Waverly Road in Williamstown, WV. Closed toed shoes are strongly recommended. The program is free and approximately 2 hours long. This is a family activity and parents or guardians are required to be present. In the event of inclement weather, call or check our Facebook page to find out if the program is canceled.
