The National Elk Refuge has launched an addition to its social media communication practices. Twitter will be used to share news stories, photos, multimedia presentations, visitor opportunities, emergency notifications, and other information.

Twitter is an online networking service that allows users to send short messages, photos, and Internet links. National Elk Refuge Twitter “feeds” will alert users that new information is available on the Refuge web site or other news sources. Users can follow the @NatlElkRefuge Twitter feed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
