Clean Up Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge

Friends of Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge and Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge are proud to present our clean-up day.

Volunteers are requested from across the state to assist in a Refuge wide clean up.   Join us as we clean up Shiawassee NWR, a refuge considered globally significant for migratory waterfowl.  A riverside clean-up will take place along with native wildflower planting.  Come lend a hand and a shovel as we keep Saginaw beautiful.     Click to download 2013 Clean Up Flyer (PDF file- 180KB)

When: September 14th, 2013 from 8:30AM-11:30AM

Where: Volunteers will meet at 6975 Mower Road in Saginaw, MI. 48601.

Food will be provided!! Wear close-toe shoes, pants, and gloves.
