Fall Wildflower Walk

August 27, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Refuge Visitor Center

A “Fall Native Wildflower Walk” will be held at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge at 7:00 P.M. on August 27th. The walk will depart from the refuge visitor center, located at 3982 Waverly Road in Williamstown, WV. This walk will follow the refuge trails while you learn how to identify native wildflowers. Explore the benefits that both wildflowers and pollinators provide for the environment. Master Naturalist, Emily Grafton will be leading the walk and the event is sponsored by the Friends of the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
