Help Shape the Future of YOUR National Wildlife Refuge

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting comments from the public for the Refuge's Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan that will shape the management of the site for the next 15 to 20 years. This is a revision to the previous 1996 Comprehensive Management Plan.

Wildlife-dependent recreation will also be addressed which includes the priority public uses for environmental education, interpretation/nature programs, wildlife observation and photography, fishing and hunting. For example, are there adequate facilities for visitors; are there additional activities that should be considered; or are there activities that should be reduced or eliminated?

Click here to submit electronic comments (see Public Involvement section) or stop by the Visitor Center lobby and fill out a comment form.

Comments are due by October 13, 2013.
