Staff from Red River NWR and trained volunteers provide educational and interpretational programs to a wide variety of audiences including, home school groups, public and private schools, scouts, conservation groups, garden clubs, and more. We also conduct educator workshops for CLUs and pre-service and in-service teacher training.

We believe education is key to preserving our natural resources for future generations to enjoy.

To schedule a group for environmental education or for a nature walk, fill out a registration form below or call the Refuge at 318-742-1219 and speak to Lisa or Terri. Register at least two weeks before your desired program date.
