Service Statement on its Manatee Protection Rule Filing

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service 's Final Decision on Manatee Protection Areas in Florida was signed yesterday and sent to the Federal Register today for publication. The Service has asked for expedited publication of the rule. A copy of the signed rule was sent to the plaintiffs' lawyer, Eric R. Glitzenstein at Meyer & Glitzenstein, in D.C. this afternoon via messenger.
