Nick Preskitt

My name is Nick Preskitt and I will be a junior at Virginia Tech this fall. With a major in Wildlife Science, I am striving to become a wildlife biologist. When I applied for a biological intern position through the Student Conservation Association and ended up receiving the position under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, I couldn’t believe I would get to spend the summer doing what I love, being outdoors with wildlife. What is even more exciting is that it would be considered work! The Student Conservation Association has been a great organization by giving me a chance to make a difference in the world of conservation, and allowing me to get a great summer experience that will enhance my resume for future job opportunities.
