Cristina is senior at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, working on her undergraduate degree in Wildlife and Fisheries. An outdoor enthusiast, she is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and is an adventurous soul; she has camped under the northern lights in Canada, walked in the lava fields of the Valley of Fires in New Mexico, and had her GPS stop working in the middle of Devils Den State Park, Arkansas.
In addition to studying, Cristina keeps busy with the Alpha Pi Omega sorority and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society; she does a little bit of reading, tries her hand at baking the best cupcakes, and attempts to capture the beauty of wildlife and friends through a camera lens. This summer she worked at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in partnership with SCA and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
